Ascension also supports Episcopal Place through their annual fundraiser, Gumbo Gala. Our gumbo team, called the Gumbo Gala Filers, prepare the gumbo in advance and serve from a decorated tent at the event. Volunteers from Ascension can help by shopping for ingredients, cooking, tent decorations, and serving our award-winning gumbo.
